The
History Of Glassblowing
One of the fascinating aspects to the process
of glassblowing is how little it has changed since its inception.
The hand tools and process of working with hot glass has not been
altered; however, the fuel source for these mighty kilns has been
radically improved from shoveling wood or coal to the ease of
gas and electric. With the introduction of these new style kilns,
thousands of independent glass art studios have popped up. Thus
was born the Studio Glass Movement.
